Debris on public roads:

To report debris that has been dumped on a public road, it is important to first identify whether the section of road is within the city, or in the unincorporated area of Riverside County.

If the debris is located on a public road within the city, contact the Code Enforcement Department. If the debris is located on a public road within the unincorporated county, contact the County Public Works Department – Road Maintenance Division, at (951) 485-5840.

Debris on private property or a vacant lot:

If the debris is located on a public road within the city, contact the Code Enforcement Department, below. If the debris is located on private property within the unincorporated county, contact the County Building Inspection Department – Code Enforcement at (760) 863-8271, or the County Health Services Department – Environmental Health Division at (951) 485-5840.
